Get the Myanmar update
Edwin Briels, the Khiri Travel Myanmar General Manager, talks about the opening up of Myanmar and organizing location filming for European TV programs in the country. Only three years ago Myanmar relaxed travel restrictions. Since then it has been a two-way learning street as a financially impoverished but culturally rich and resourceful people have come face to face with fickle foreign tourists, TV celebrities and the blunt end of globalization. Briels recalls his Myanmar encounters with the Top Gear team, Griff Rhys-Jones (on a personal journey to learn about his father’s WWII past) and Chris Tarrant filming Around the World by Train. Get in touch with Edwin directly to find out more.
